The Adelaide Dollhouse Nightmare

In 2012, a woman in Adelaide purchased the contents of a storage unit at auction. Among the various items, she found a meticulously and beautifully crafted dollhouse. But this was no ordinary toy, it was a perfect replica of a real house, down to the smallest of details. As she examined it more closely, she noticed something super unsettling: the dollhouse depicted scenes of graphic violence, with tiny figures posed in gruesome ways. Disturbed and in complete shock - she decided to investigate the house it was modeled after… This is where her thoughts became reality. To her horror, she discovered that the house had been the site of a brutal murder decades earlier, and the dollhouse seemed to recreate the crime in eerie detail - as if someone had witnessed this event close up... The woman quickly got rid of the dollhouse, but the unsettling experience continued to haunt her for years to come. 

The Brisbane Bone Box

In 2009, a storage unit in Brisbane was opened after being abandoned for several years. The auction winner was horrified to find a large wooden crate filled with bones. Initially believed to be animal remains, further examination revealed them to be human. The discovery led to a police investigation, which traced the bones back to a local cult that had been active in the 1980s. The cult members had used the storage unit to dispose of their victims’ remains, leaving behind a macabre collection of evidence. The eerie find sent shockwaves through the community, reviving fears of the cult’s dark past.

The Perth Phantom Photos

In 2018, a Perth man stumbled upon a forgotten storage unit filled with old photographs and home videos. As he went through the boxes, he noticed that many of the photos featured the same shadowy figure standing in the background, always watching - it did not matter the photo - he was there. The figure appeared in different locations, sometimes outside windows, other times in reflections. The man was disturbed to find that even in videos where no one else should have been present, the figure could be seen lurking in the shadows. Despite extensive research, he was unable to find any information about the original owner of the unit, the family of the owner or the identity of the mysterious figure. Fearing that he was being followed or had brought himself into his own nightmare, the man eventually destroyed the photos and tapes, but the memory of the phantom figure continued to plague his nightmares and thoughts for years to come..
